Dr Rana Yawary

Rana is a specialist Paediatric Dentist who cares for children at Melbourne Paediatric Dentistry, located in Footscray. She completed both her undergraduate training in Dentistry (BDSc) and specialist paediatric training (DClinDent) at the University of Western Australia. She then took up a position to complete advanced training at the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne working as a Senior Registrar. Prior to specialising, her diverse experiences have included the school dental service, rural government practice and metropolitan private practice.

Rana enjoys all aspects of clinical Paediatric Dentistry with a special interest in complex restorative management, Special Needs dentistry and dental trauma management.

Outside of Private practice she is the State Oral Health Advisor for Dental Health Services Victoria. Rana lectures to doctors, dentists and oral health therapists across victoria and has presented research at the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, the European Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the FDI World Dental Congress. She has co-authored several clinical guidelines and articles and provides clinical training to dentists.
