Dr Wong completed her undergraduate dental studies at the University of Adelaide, receiving the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award and Malcolm Joyner Prize.

After working as a General Dentist in private practice in Newcastle, New South Wales, Deb and her husband moved to Melbourne to call the most liveable city home, and completed specialist paediatric dentistry training at the University of Melbourne, obtaining a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatrics). Her research on the medical and dental aspects of chromosome 22q11.2 deletion syndrome has been published internationally.

Deb has worked in multidisciplinary teams at the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.

Deb has a calm, gentle and friendly nature that makes her great with children.

Outside of dentistry, Deb enjoys playing the piano, having completed a few diplomas (LMusA, AMusA, CMusA), running with her husband, fashion photography, and recently adopted Popsicle, their Scottish Fold cat.
