Dr Lee offers a wide range of services within his specialty, from routine dental extractions to complex surgical procedures. Dr Lee is committed to an evidence-based approach and using the latest advancements in surgical techniques to ensure that his patients receive the best possible care.

Dr Lee completed his dental training at the University of Melbourne and his medical training at the University of Sydney. During his studies, he received a number of clinical and research awards. Dr Lee gained his specialist fellowship FRACDS(OMS) in 2008 after completing his surgical training in tertiary units in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Dr Lee practises the full spectrum of this surgical specialty with a particular interest in managing facial trauma patients. Apart from devoting his time to private practice, Dr Lee has held consultant surgeon posts at the University Hospital of Geelong and Western Health since 2009.

Dr Lee stays abreast of the current development in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery by regularly attending local and international meetings. He is also dedicated to education of future generations of dentists and surgeons, serving as an Associate Professor in Dentistry and Oral Health at Latrobe University and the Supervisor of Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at Western Health.

Dr Lee has assisted with the governance and administrative aspects of his surgical specialty college, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and has served on a number of educational and research Committees.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Lee has a passion in scientific research, with two higher degrees in surgical research. He has approximately 50 publications in peer reviewed journals and frequently presents his research findings. Currently, he is supervising a number of masters and doctorate students and is conducting a multi-centre trial aimed to improve the current algorithm of alcohol-related facial trauma management. He has edited an evidence based and practical textbook on minor oral surgery for dental students.
